As a Director, Solution Delivery & Support, you will:

  • Be responsible for building, delivering, and supporting digital products and solutions including, but not limited to Power Platform applications that support a wide range of agency functions, enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics, and others that may be identified.
  • Use agile project management to make sure the team works together and communicates well.
  • Lead the team and help elicit client business strategy and needs, consider options for solutions to meet those needs, and deliver the most effective solution to clients.
  • Drive digital transformation using enterprise shared services, to include meeting Federal digital and customer experience requirements.
  • Operate in a full cost recovery environment, understanding the drivers of costs and working with resource managers to ensure chargeback models are effective.
  • Provide Solutions Delivery & Support: Involves application development on Power Platform Microsoft Dynamics and other low-code/no-code platforms, to include coordination with other teams on those matters.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.

To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:

  • Experience guiding teams in the use of agile project management to ensure compliant solutions support objectives are met in accordance with information security policy standards.
  • Experience leading teams to elicit the delivery of effective client business strategies, alternatives and solutions.
  • Experience driving digital transformation using enterprise shared services, to include meeting Federal (or equivalent) digital, customer and information security requirements.
  • Experience operating in a full cost recovery environment or similar shared services chargeback model, understanding cost drivers and working with resource managers to ensure chargeback models are effective.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

  1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work such as developing and managing agile project backlogs to ensure user stories are clearly defined and conscientious about attending to detail to accurately estimate, prioritize appropriately and contain well-formed user acceptance criteria.
  2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems including knowledge of customer needs, pain points, and market trends while aligning technologies and functionalities to address those needs, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services based on knowledge of design and implementation of product strategies that directly enhance the customer service experience; is committed to providing quality products and services.
  3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
  4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations quickly adapting to changing circumstances, prioritizing effectively, and developing optimal solutions that deliver value to customers.
